Almost everyone has some stories and legends telling about lost family roots. Over time every story transforms into a legend, becoming rather a myth, than the truth. I was interested in combining different myths into one and tracing their relationship on a map. Losing family histories, we find new connections with other people, as a result of which the fates of people from the most remote corners of the earth are intertwined. In the animation, I combined the stories and photos of other residents coming from various countries and having different backgrounds. The visual part is interpreted by me. The only authentic component are the audio recordings of the participants’ stories.
