Yana Bachynska

was born on 31.10.1991 in Lviv, Ukraine. He is a video and performance artist.

From 2016 to 2019, he attended the Art Academy of Szczecin and completed his Master of Fine Arts at the multimedia department. From 2008 to 2013, he studied Master in Philosophy at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Yana works with video, performance, and art in public space. In his artistic practice, he addresses problems of historical events’ commemoration and longing for utopia.
