Roya Noorinenezhad

was born in 1986 in Iran.

2006-2011 she studied photography (BA) at Tehran University and 2014-2018 at the Folkwang University in Essen (MA) ‘photography studies and practice’.

2015-2017 Roya was DAAD scholarship holder in the field of fine arts. In 2019 she was in Istanbul under the ‘Atelier Galata’ scholarship.

2020 Roya is as a mentee in the program ‘Kunstmentorat NRW’. Her works were exhibited in for example: Folkwang Museum, Essen (DE), Frauenmuseum, Bonn (DE), SANAA Building, Essen (DE), Kunstraum Tosterglope, Lüneburg (DE), Silk Road Gallery, Tehran (IR).
